There are twelve primary schools in the Collaborative. Generally school improvement work takes place across the whole family of schools through meetings and bespoke training events. This academic year has seen a further development to that work. The Collaborative has created tripods of three primary schools in four geographical areas:
Westvale – Millbrook; Westvale; St Michael and All Angels
Tower Hill – Eastcroft Park; Ravenscroft; Sts Peter and Paul
Northwood – Kirkby CE; Northwood; St Marie’s
Southdene – Park Brow; St Joseph the Worker; St Laurence’s
The secondary schools – Kirkby High and All Saints – are welcome to attend any of the tripod discussions.
The tripods will enable smaller group discussion around key school improvement themes that can then be fed back to the larger Collaborative group.
Initial meetings have been around moderation and curriculum innovation.
