Genomics in the NHS Clinic – the Appliance of Science with Dr. Ian Ellis MBE (Consultant Clinical Geneticist in the NHS)
Dr Ellis has been a Clinical Geneticist in Liverpool, for over 20 years. Genetic testing has developed from chromosome testing to gene analysis, and now extends to whole genome sequencing. But what does this mean for families seen in the genetic clinic? The impact of the Human Genome project and the 100,000 Genome Study will be illustrated by specific examples.
