The wonderful work of popular children’s author Nick Sharratt is celebrated at an exciting new exhibition in Kirkby beginning in the first week of February.
Nick’s work will be familiar to many parents and young people, either from the picture books he has authored and illustrated himself or the distinctive illustrations he has produced for writers such as Jacqueline Wilson and Jeremy Strong.
Now, you can see both Nick and his artwork in real life right here in Kirkby when the Pirates, Pants and Whellyphants exhibition opens in Kirkby Gallery on Saturday, February 4.
At the exhibition, you can discover how Nick became an illustrator and produced some of the most recognisable, children storybook artworks.
Take the opportunity to explore some of his books, participate in fun activities, and let your imagination and creativity run wild.
The exhibition is open from 4 February until 22 April 2017.
You can find Kirkby Gallery at Kirkby Centre, Norwich Way L32 8XY
