3 day Primary Emotional First Aid Course – Cohort 3 – DAY THREE

22/03/2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

  • « Kirkby SciBar – Space…
  • Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) training »

The aim of this programme is to engage and support school based staff, and other people who work with children and young people, to enable them to identify early signs of emotional distress and respond in a more empathic and supportive way to improve outcomes for our children and young people.  Increasing the skills in the workforce will ultimately enable children and young people to take more control of their own emotional and mental wellbeing, build their resilience and provide them with a range of self-help coping skills/strategies.  This can make a big difference to young people who may be experiencing difficulties in life such as, anxiety, stress, depression or other mental health difficulties, self-harming, risky behaviour, or overcoming bullying.
