Following his immensely successful exhibition in Kirkby Gallery in 2015, Willy Russell is returning this time to show an entirely new side to his creative portfolio.

Fairtrade Fortnight 2017 across the Kirkby Collaborative
Fairtrade Fortnight 2017 takes place from February 27th to March 10th
The theme this year is It’s time to put Fairtrade in your break. Each school is taking part in activities during the fortnight.

Reading Quality Mark
Schools are currently working towards the Reading Quality Mark. The Reading Quality Mark was created by School Improvement Liverpool working with the National Literacy Trust.

The development of the Kirkby Child
One key theme of the Collaborative for 2016-17 is the development of The Kirkby Child. The fifteen schools are working together to develop an agreed set of core values and skills which our Collaborative community deems important for students to work towards both in and out of school.

Team Teach Training at Eastcroft Park
This course covers: personal safety, team building, non verbal and verbal de-escalation communication strategies, and some positive handling techniques.

The Kirkby Tripods
The Collaborative has created cluster of three primary schools – our tripods – in four geographical areas.
