Schools are currently working towards the Reading Quality Mark. The Reading Quality Mark was created by School Improvement Liverpool working with the National Literacy Trust.
The twelve Kirkby Collaborative primary schools are participating in a two year Assessment project led by colleagues from School Improvement Liverpool.
The Kirkby Collaborative of Schools has links with four schools in Namibia.
The Collaborative have been working with Mark Burns (Primary) and Andy Griffith (Secondary) to develop leadership of the improvement of teaching at all levels in schools through the Leading for Excellence programme.
